Light Up Night
November, on the Friday before Thanksgiving
PPG Place sparkles with excitement as we celebrate Pittsburgh’s Annual Light Up Night festivities. See the lighting of our spectacular tree in the center of The Rink, marking the official opening of ice skating for the season.
Gingerbread House Display & Competition
November-January
Don’t miss this magnificent display of delicious dwellings created by area individuals, organizations, senior citizens, students and chefs. Houses can be viewed from the Wintergarden.
Spirits of Giving From Around the World
November-January
See the splendor of the holidays come alive during PPG Place’s breathtaking annual exhibit. This enchanting display of life-size Santas and original paintings captures a whole world of Christmas folklore and fantasy. The exhibit comes alive with a collection of original paintings, each depicting holiday celebrations around the world.
Enjoy Free Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
November-December
Highwoods proudly supports the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. Get into the holiday spirit and experience downtown in a whole new way during a complimentary horse drawn carriage ride through Market Square.
Private Events at PPG Place
The Wintergarden at PPG Place may be rented for private functions, including small weddings. Room capacity for weddings is 300.
