The Wintergarden is a bright and open plant-filled, all-glass garden environment. Activities abound throughout the year, from the concerts, art exhibits and many other entertainment and private events. From late November through early January each year, the Wintergarden is the site of the annual Spirits of Giving Around the World and Gingerbread House and Train Exhibit.
NEW! The Wintergarden may now be rented for private functions - INCLUDING WEDDINGS.
Standard Wintergarden Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED* (*open weekends during Holidays and various City-wide events).
There are extended hours of operation during the annual Spirits of Giving Around the World exhibit from mid-November through early January (see December Events summary for exact hours)
WEDDING PHOTOS:Wedding photos can be taken in the Wintergarden or on the PPG Place Plaza if the areas are available. No photos are permitted during the annual Spirits of Giving Around The World exhibit from late November through early Janaury.
PRIOR NOTICE MUST BE MADE TO HAVE PHOTOS TAKEN IN THE WINTERGARDEN ON WEEKENDS WHEN IT IS CLOSED. In order to gain access to Wintergarden for photos on the weekends, arrangements must be made in advance by calling Highwoods Properties at 412-434-1900 (You will go to the One PPG Place lobby desk upon arrival to have the room opened for photos.)
